The Days of Creation puzzles are a fun way to learn about the 7 days of creation. Children do not need to know what God created each day in order to do these puzzles. In fact, it is fun to watch the different ways that children figure out how to do these puzzles. Some children look at the cut edge. Some match like pictures. And some match the number on each piece. No matter how the children figure out to put the puzzles together, they are learning that God created our world and what is in it!
There are two printing options for the Days of Creation Puzzles:
I printed mine on white cardstock.
If you printed two puzzles per page, cut apart the two puzzles on the light gray line.
All the puzzles are cut apart down the middle of the heavy black line in the center of each puzzle.
The puzzles can be colored or played with as they are.
I used these puzzles to tell the story of creation in one of my Little Lambs classes. I have a magnetic white board so I put the puzzles onto magnetic sheets. The story could also be told by laying the pieces on the floor with the children sitting in a circle around you OR by taping the pieces to a wall or board.
